Marrickville High School offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.

We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day.

Campus and Facilities

Marrickville High School has the largest green space of any public school in the Inner West, it features:

Two full-sized natural grass ovals
Two volleyball courts
Two basketball courts
A netball court
A multipurpose gymnasium
A dance studio

The school regularly hosts interschool sports gala days.

In 2024, the Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) collaborated with the school to develop a community garden, serving as an outdoor education space for Food Technology and Science classes. The garden grows vegetable including; eggplants, pumpkins, beans, tomatoes, kale, spinach, dill, and herbs, with native beehives installed throughout the school for pollination.

Music rooms with specialised break out rooms (upgraded in 2025)

· Outdoor amphitheatre with a screen and room for music lessons and outdoor presentations (built in 2022)

STEM and Robotics Laboratory (built in 2025)
Timber workshops
Visual Arts rooms (upgraded in 2025)

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
