Welcome to Marrickville High School

Marrickville High School reflects the vibrant and inclusive spirit of our local community. We are committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive education that maximises student achievement.

Our dedicated Year 7 transition program supports students as they begin high school, with tailored in-class and co-curricular activities that build confidence, friendships, and essential skills.

We work closely with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition, with a strong focus on each child’s individual needs. During the first weeks, students take part in orientation activities and assessments to help our staff understand how best to support their learning journey.

Year 7 students are also encouraged to attend our weekly Homework Centre, where qualified staff provide extra learning support.

We look forward to welcoming your family to Marrickville High School.
