Stage 5 and 6 Work Education - group 1
- Available for students in Years 10, 11 and 12 Senior
- Provides them with a range of real life experiences and develops skills which are needed in the workplace
- Provides an opportunity for students to socialise in a setting outside of school.
- Based on a one day release program (once a week).
IO Senior Class Work Education
- Available for students in Years 9, 10, 11 and 12.
- Provides them with a real life work environment which assists the students in developing basic skills that are needed in the workplace.
- Provides an opportunity for students to socialise in a setting outside of school.
- Runs one day a week at a nominated Supported Worksite.
Year 11 and 12 TAFE Options
- A variety of TAFE courses are available for students in years 11 and 12 (e.g. Retail, Hospitality, Business Studies).
- All courses available provide support and are leveled at students' abilities.
- So far the students who have participated have generally been successful.
Students enjoy on the job training whilst also gaining valuable work and social skills when they participate in our community Work Education programs.
