MHS selected to participate in 2017 Archibull Prize

Look who just arrived!
We are pleased to announce that Marrickville High School is one of 30 schools selected across NSW, QLD and ACT to participate in the prestigious and challenging Art4Agriculture Archibull Prize.
Involvement in the Archibull Prize gives our students a unique opportunity to understand first hand the importance and value of farming and agriculture to support everyday life, and the global issues affecting farmers.
MHS students will connect with a Cotton farmer to discuss the important theme of this years 2017 Archibull ‘feeding, clothing and powering a hungry nation is a shared responsibility'.
Geography and Visual Arts students must collaborate to research, prepare a report and ultimately create a colourful artwork on a fibreglass bull.
The winning school will receive the coveted title of Grand Champion Archibull. What an exciting challenge. Watch this space!
